Art, especially film, is important because it gives us the ability to form lasting human connections by letting creators share their experiences with each other. Art has been a way of tradition and history for native and indigenous populations alike, and with art we as humans have been able to express our emotions, thoughts, and ideas into something someone can experience. Providing a single location for people to submit like-minded and themed films from native and indigenous backgrounds will allow for socio-political commentary, historical documentation, and the ability for perspectives from around the world to be shared and viewed in one easy to access website.
